Mohamed Ally, Ph.D. Mohamed Ally : Director and Professor at the Centre for Distance Education, Athabasca University, Dr. Mohamed Ally is also the Past-President of the International Federation of Training and Development Organizations (IFTDO), Founding Director of the International Association of Mobile Learning (IAML), a writer and a scholar.

Dr. Ally’s areas of research and expertise include mobile learning, workplace learning, e-learning, distance education, and program planning and development. His books in the areas of mobile learning and mobile libraries have been well received by distance learning communities. He brings experiences in management and scholarship from his works in journal boards, conference committees, and boards of professional associations. Dr. Ally has presented keynote speeches, workshops, papers, and seminars in over twenty different countries. He was the guest editor for a peer-reviewed journal that published a special issue on mobile learning.
