Nipa Banerjee, Ph.D. : Dr. Banerjee, Professor at the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs of the University of Ottawa, Canada, served 33 years as Practitioner in development with Canadian International Development Agency. She served with IDRC and CUSO prior to that assignment. She also served in professional capacity for 16 years in South East and South Asia with long term posting in Afghanistan, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, India and Bangladesh. Dr. Banerjee served in Graduate Students Thesis Supervisory Committees and as Thesis Supervisor. Taught undergraduate courses, including honours courses. Served as a guest lecturer in a number of Canadian Universities. She is commitment to transfer of skills, experience and expertise in international development, gained by her through practical experience, to young Canadians, who could act as agents of change, promote development and contribute to effective development analysis, ODA programming, implementation and management.
